Instructions
- Prepare the cucumber sandwiches:
- a. Spread butter evenly on each slice of white bread.
- b. Layer cucumber slices over 4 slices, season lightly with salt and pepper, and top with remaining bread.
- c. Cut each sandwich into 3 neat fingers.
- Prepare the smoked salmon sandwiches:
- a. Spread cream cheese on each slice of pumpernickel or whole wheat bread.
- b. Layer smoked salmon over 4 slices, sprinkle with dill and a touch of lemon juice.
- c. Top with remaining bread and cut into 3 fingers each.
- Prepare the egg & watercress sandwiches:
- a. Mash eggs with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth but textured.
- b. Spread egg mixture over 4 slices of whole grain bread.
