Ingredients
- Wraps: 4 large spinach tortillas (or regular flour tortillas)
- Spread: 100 g cream cheese, softened, 2 tbsp sour cream, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped, Salt and pepper, to taste
- Veggies: ½ red bell pepper, finely diced, ½ yellow bell pepper, finely diced, 1 small carrot, julienned or grated, 50 g baby spinach leaves, roughly chopped, 50 g shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- Toppings & Garnish: 16 pretzel sticks (for tree trunks), Sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional, for snow), 1 small yellow bell pepper, sliced into stars (for tree toppers)
Instructions
- Step 1:
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, chives, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Step 2:
- Lay each tortilla flat and spread a quarter of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the surface.
- Step 3:
- Sprinkle spinach, carrots, red and yellow bell peppers, and shredded cheese evenly over each tortilla.
- Step 4:

- Step 5:
- Insert a pretzel stick into the base of each wrap to form the tree trunk.
- Step 6:
- Use a small star-shaped cutter to make stars from the yellow bell pepper, and press one onto the top of each wrap tree.
- Step 7:
- Optionally, sprinkle wraps with sesame or poppy seeds for a snowy effect.
- Step 8:
- Preheat the air fryer to 180℃ (350℉).
- Step 9:
- Arrange wraps in the basket, cut side up, without overcrowding.
- Step 10:
- Air fry for 6–8 minutes, or until crisp and golden. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Recipe Q&A
- → Can I use regular tortillas instead of spinach tortillas?
Yes, regular flour tortillas work well and provide a neutral base, allowing the veggie flavors to stand out.
- → How do I prevent the wraps from unrolling during air frying?
Slicing the rolled tortillas on a sharp bias and inserting pretzel sticks as trunks helps keep the shape intact while crisping.
- → What can I substitute for cream cheese in the spread?
Hummus or vegan spreads offer excellent dairy-free alternatives that complement the fresh veggies nicely.
- → Are there tips for achieving a crispy texture?
Ensure wraps are arranged cut side up without overcrowding in the air fryer basket, and crisp at 180°C (350°F) for 6–8 minutes.
- → Can I prepare these in advance?
You can assemble the wraps a few hours ahead and refrigerate before air frying to maintain freshness and ease serving.
